Reading response of Anthony Browne

This week we were learning about authors, and how they can have messages behind their stories. Also, you can spot out some things in the images and languages we did a story on Anthony Browne.   

Basic facts reflection

 This term I think I have done well on achieving my goal on brick 22 but now I am on brick 23, the battles were hard when trying to complete brick 22 but when I moved up I was relieved. Lucky, me I just moved up on the last week of the term so that was a major relief. 

Next term I plan to achieve brick 23, and my next goal is to be up on brick 24 or 25. 

Covid vaccine persuasive writing

 This term I have been learning how to write about counter arguement and what the main ingredients are in a counter-arguement. A counter-argument is when you express the opposite of view also backs up your reasonings with your supporting evidence. 

  Covid 19 and Vaccine

Do you want Covid 19 to overpower us all? Well, all across the country some people are getting tormented because of Covid 19. This covid 19 started off with one person then grew to 85 people, this virus spreads everywhere like ants. This innocent man didn’t know he had covid 19 and looked where it ended up - 85 infected people.. Some people are pro-vaccines; others are anti vaccines. I believe that people should get vaccinated.

Most people in our world are scared to get their vaccines because they are too afraid to get a needle stabbed into them or they have heard bad things about the vaccination online, and their family/parents haven't arranged for them to get their vaccines and their parents don’t want to. God says, “so, do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”. Does this suit your mood? What will be better?  According to WHO (World Health Organisation), the side effects of covid 19 vaccines is it can cause mild symptoms such as fever or pain or redness. If you get your injections, most reactions are mild but they will go away in a few days. 

According to NIAM (National immunization awareness month), the virus and bacteria that causes illness and death still exist and can be moved on to those who are not protected by vaccines. While many diseases are not common, global travel makes it easy for diseases to spread. This is why itś important to get your vaccines or else global travel will just come and wipe us out like how it started with one man then got to 85 delta positive people in one day because of global travel. Adults are the most common source of pertussis (cough disease) infection in infants which can be lethal for babies like your youngest sibling.

Some people think if they get their vaccines they can still catch covid 19; I strongly believe if you get your covid vaccines you are less at risk of death and you may recover faster. If you get vaccinated you're not only protecting your family but you're also protecting your community and the world! Covid 19 first hit New Zealand on December 31st 2019, 6days after Christmas the whole of New Zealand were panicking because they had never solved a problem like this before, parliament had no clue on what to do. August 31st 2021 has 55 new cases, in total now there are 603 cases. So, I thank you people for getting vaccinated and I salute people who are getting their vaccines and looking after their community and family.

Lastly, the most important thing is to get your vaccine. As I said, it won’t only help you but, it will help your family and community. So come and get your vaccine because I believe that we should get the vaccine for our bodies. We want to have healthy, clean bodies, not rubbish, poisoned bodies. Come along and play your part, and so we can put a limit to this disgusting and disrespectful virus because no one invited the virus to the party. I believe everyone in New Zealand or anywhere else can get their vaccines. So come along and join my waka.

Math codes

 In class we have been learning about variables. Variables are mainly used in geometry to represent an unknown number. We have also been learning math codes. The language is algebra.

MY fit fid plan over lockdown

Throughout lock down my family has been doing a bit of exercise so my teacher set my class to do a plan on what the family is doing for there exercise or what they have been doing throughout the lock down. So it's kind of like a schedule.
